Man thrown from SUV in single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 70 dies
The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. when the SUV westbound on Interstate 70 crashed while approaching the South James Road interchange. Tommy L. Edwards, 33, died following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near the South James Road interchange in New Jersey. Witnesses reported that a Chevrolet Suburban began to swerve and then hit the center cable barrier before rolling into the center median. Edwards was thrown from the SUV and sustained severe injuries. Paramedics transported him to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1052 p.m. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 on Monday night.
Tommy L. Edwards, 33, suffered the fatal injuries shortly after 10:30 p.m. while westbound on Interstate 70 approaching the South James Road interchange.
Witnesses told police that a Chevrolet Suburban began to swerve and then struck the center cable barrier before rolling into the center median. Edwards was thrown from the SUV and suffered severe injuries.
Paramedics took him to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:52 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
