One dead after motorcycle collides with deer in Marion
MARION, Ohio (WCMH) — A woman is dead and a man seriously injured after a motorcycle hit a deer in western Marion County early Sunday morning. Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happene… A motorcycle accident occurred early Sunday morning in Marion County, Ohio, killing a woman and seriously injuring a man after a motorcycle hit a deer. The accident occurred on State Route 37 on State Road 37. The motorcycle was being driven by a 51-year-old Marion man and driven by Danielle N. McCormack, who was riding as a passenger, was pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center after suffering life-threatening injuries. Neither vehicle was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

MARION, Ohio (WCMH) — A woman is dead and a man seriously injured after a motorcycle hit a deer in western Marion County early Sunday morning.
Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at approximately 12:18 a.m. Sunday on State Route 37.
A 2018 Harley Davidson was being driven north on SR-37 by a 51-year-old Marion man with Danielle N. McCormack, 38, of LaRue, riding as a passenger. Police said the motorcycle hit a deer that ran onto the road, which caused the bike to overturn onto its side.
Both victims were first taken to Marion General Hospital before being flown to Grant Medical Center; McCormack had life-threatening injuries while the driver had serious injuries. McCormack was later pronounced dead at the hospital
Police said neither was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Scioto Valley Fire and EMS and Marion Township EMS.
