The honorees, who were selected by C-suite peers in our CEO of the Year economic survey, represent numerous for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Columbus CEO has honored 13 finalists in its 2025 CEO of the Year awards for outstanding leadership. The program, which celebrates its 15th year, recognises 17 local executives who lead a wide range of for-profit and nonprofit organizations in the Columbus region. The winners and finalists were chosen by their C-suite peers based on their annual Survey of Economic Conditions. The finalists were asked to share their key leadership skills, including courage and the ability to ask tough questions. As president and CEO of Grange Insurance Co. since 2015, John Ammendola has led the strategic vision and performance of his 1,200-employee company while also serving on various industry and community boards.
