Events listed for Friday, April 5 The Columbus area community calendar includes events such as Sing & Play with Allie Jean, Mulch & Compost Loading, and TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) No. 168. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) No. 168 — 10 t0 11:45 a.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus.

Mulch & Compost Loading — 2 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Yard Waste Site, 720 S. Mapleton St., Columbus. Bartholomew County residents are welcome to self-load mulch and/or compost from our Yard Waste Site free of charge. $10 per pick-up truck size load of mulch or compost. Notary available at Hope Library — 2 to 3 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come to Hope Branch Library on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. to get items notarized by staff member notary Jennifer Pardue. Please bring photo ID. This is a Hope walk-in hour with no appointment required.
