Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Brehl Avenue just after midnight, according to a statement from Columbus police.
Police found one adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body inside a residence.
The person was rushed to a local hospital and expected to survive, police said.
