A trial date has been set for an Illinois doctor accused of killing his ex-wife and her dentist husband in their Columbus home. A trial date has been set for Michael McKee, an Illinois doctor accused of murdering his ex-wife and her dentist husband, Spencer Tepe, in their Columbus, Ohio home in 2025. The couple were found shot to death in their home on Dec. 30, 2025, setting off a large manhunt for a suspect. McKee was arrested in Illinois and extradited to the Franklin County Jail in Ohio. He is facing four counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated burglary. Court documents allege that McKee made threats against Monique and told her he could kill her at any time and buy the house next to her.
