Delta Air Lines has announced a new nonstop flight from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Salt Lake City, Utah, starting on June 8. The new flights, which cost about $429 one way, are part of a larger effort to help passengers reach their destinations as part of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority is planning for a new terminal. This flight is part of 10 new routes set to open in time for summer travel.

Delta Air Lines’ has announced a new flight to Salt Lake City, Utah. The nonstop flight from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Salt Lake City beings Saturday, June 8.

Delta had previously ran nonstop flights to Salt Lake City in 2019. Salt Lake City has been one of Columbus’ largest unserved destinations. The new nonstop flights look to be about $429 one way. It leaves daily in the morning from Columbus.

“As we plan for our new terminal, we continue to work with the airlines to help our passengers fly to their desired destinations,” said Joseph R. Nardone, President & CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority in a statement.

This flight is one of 10 new routes opening in time for summer travel including:

• May 8 – Spirit to Myrtle Beach (MYR) four times a week through July 8

• May 8 – Spirit to New York-La Guardia (LGA) daily

• May 22 – Frontier to Philadelphia (PHL) three times a week

• May 22 – Frontier to New Orleans (MSY) three times a week
