CEO of the Year 2025 Survey Shows a Drop-off in DEI Budgets Since 2021
More organizations are holding diversity, equity and inclusion budgets steady or scaling back vs. 2021, our CEO of the Year economic outlook surveys show. The annual Columbus CEO Survey of Economic Conditions for 2025 has found a decrease in efforts towards diversity, equity and inclusion. The survey surveyed for-profit enterprises and non-governmental organizations surveyed in 2021 and 2025, with 27 percent of respondents from non-profit organisations accounting for the loss of 27 percent. The respondents were asked about how their company had changed its budget to promote diversity over the past year.
