The pumpkin was grown by John Harnica from the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers’ Association. Paras noted that these works can take around 25 to 30 hours to complete, and that Parton's likeness was easy as she chose to depict her beloved star. Paras, a two-time breast cancer "Thrive-r," has partnered with the Stefanie Spielman Fund for breast cancer research.
